Act UP Drama Club is a low pressure environment for people aged 18+ that focuses on having fun, making friends, and unleashing your creativity. Come and Act UP! 🙌

No experience required! Whether you have never done any kind of performance related activity, or if you are a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome. All that is required is a willingness to try something new 😊

Our sessions currently only happen in London at the Good Hotel, usually on a weekday night (often Wednesday) from 7pm - 9pm. Sometimes we may have sessions available on other week nights too.

Always check the information on the event page or on your booking confirmation for the correct details. When you arrive at the Good Hotel, speak to a member of staff on the front desk and they will direct you to the correct room.

We know that stepping into a room full of strangers and trying something new can be a little intimidating, so every session is structured to make you feel at ease. It looks something like this:

🧊🔨Ice breaker - an activity to get people talking, sharing, and building a connection

🔥🙌Energisers - fun games to help everyone unlock their playful side and get creative 

🎭👏Improv - an improv exercise or scene game that is improvised (with some guidelines or prompts)

Not at all! It is entirely up to you how many sessions you would like to attend and how many tickets you would like to purchase, whether that's just one or multiple.  Although we do often offer multi-buy discounts for those who want to attend multiple sessions! 📅
